About the event
Rolf de Heer directs the peerless David Gulpilil in this remarkable meditation on race relations in a re-imagined 1920's Australia. Gary Sweet gives a personal best performance as the heavily bigoted and aptly named 'fanatic', whilst Gulpilil proves yet again to be the finest screen actor Australia has produced, with a nuanced performance that owes as much to his lithe physicality as it does to his uniquely expressive face.
with incredible sweeping cinematography by Ian Jones and a custom soundtrack (lyrics by de Heer) performed by Archie Roach, The Tracker is not to be missed.
Spanish inspired Tapas bar from 6pm, Groovy booze free drinks (or BYO) and more.
